TYPES OF COLUMNS .

1.SQUARE OR RECTRANGILE.

This type of column basically us in all building construction 

2.CIRCULAR.

This type of column is construction only for where this more traffic or Dont want to build the walls for building-Circular column

3.T -TYPE.

This column is constructed b/w 2 Beams for support of it .This kind of columns is used depending on design requirements and in the construction of bridges, etc. This has same features of a rectangular or square column.

4.L- TYPE.

This type of column constructed corner of  building  connected to 2 beams and if in bridge its 

5.Y -TYPE.

Y type column always constructed in bridges only bcoz its content more strength and height Bearing capacity
